🎬 How AI is Changing Visual Storytelling in Documentaries
How do you show something that happened off-camera? Or an idea in someone’s head?
Traditionally, documentarians have used animation, re-enactments, or creative B-roll—but AI is opening up new possibilities.
Join award-winning filmmakers James Longley & Izzy Chan as they share how they’ve been experimenting with AI in simple, everyday ways—to visualize ideas, prototype animation, and rethink how stories can be told.
They’ll also talk about the questions they’re grappling with:
What works? What doesn’t?
Where does AI fit in the creative process?
How do we balance innovation with ethics?
